Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These terms apply to Boardly, a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox made by Bright Tools ("we", "us"). By installing or using Boardly you agree to them.

1. What Boardly is

Boardly lets you save web pages, images and links into boards that are stored in your browser on your computer. Boardly has a free plan and a paid plan, Boardly Pro.

2. Free plan and Pro

3. Payments

Payments are handled by ExtensionPay and processed by Stripe. Their terms also apply to your payment. We don't see or store your card details.

4. 14-day refund policy

If you're not happy with Boardly Pro, email ikeram@gmail.com within 14 days of your first payment (for subscriptions) or of your purchase (for lifetime) and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Renewal payments can be refunded if you contact us within 14 days of the renewal.

5. Your content

Your boards and saves belong to you and are stored only on your computer. You are responsible for keeping backups (use "Export / back up"). If you remove the extension or clear your browser data, your saves may be deleted, and we can't recover them because we never receive them. Please only save content you're allowed to access, and respect the rights of the websites you save.

6. Acceptable use

Don't try to bypass the Pro payment, reverse engineer the payment system, or use Boardly to break any law.

7. No warranty

Boardly is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be error-free, that websites will keep their pages available, or that browsers won't change in ways that affect it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to Boardly is limited to the amount you paid us for Boardly in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Open-source software

Boardly includes ExtPay.js version 3.1.2 by Glen Chiacchieri, used without changes under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 (LGPL-3.0). You can get its source code from the link above. Everything else in Boardly is © 2026 Bright Tools.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use Boardly means you accept the updated terms.
